Alice Doesnt Live Here Anymore 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray

Fresh from the success of Mean Streets, Martin Scorsese brought his distinctive New Hollywood sensibility to this heartfelt and deeply human story of self-discovery, independence and resilience. Anchored by an Academy Award-winning performance from Ellen Burstyn, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore remains one of the most celebrated feminist dramas of the 1970s.

Burstyn stars as Alice Hyatt, a newly widowed mother who leaves behind her old life and sets out across the American Southwest with her young son Tommy. Determined to pursue her dream of becoming a singer, Alice takes on a series of jobs while navigating the challenges of single parenthood, financial uncertainty and new relationships. Along the way, she discovers the strength to define her own future, even as a romance with a rugged rancher threatens to complicate her growing independence.

Featuring memorable supporting performances from Kris Kristofferson, Diane Ladd, Harvey Keitel and Jodie Foster, this warm, funny and emotionally rich portrait of starting over captures the spirit of a changing America and remains one of Scorsese's most beloved films.
