Robin of Locksley (Kevin Costner) returns home from the Crusades to discover his father murdered and his lands seized. Swearing vengeance, he joins forces with his loyal Moorish companion Azeem (Morgan Freeman) and rallies a band of rebels to challenge the tyranny of the Sheriff of Nottingham (Alan Rickman). As Robin wages war against corruption and injustice, he must also win the heart of Maid Marian (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio), cousin to the absent King of England.

This sweeping swashbuckling adventure features an all-star supporting cast including Christian Slater, Brian Blessed and a memorable cameo from Sean Connery Ñ himself a former Robin Hood. With a rousing score by Michael Kamen and the iconic Bryan Adams hit Ò(Everything I Do) I Do It for You,Ó the film remains one of the most beloved adventure epics of the 1990s.
