About the film
British scientist Dr John Rollason is conducting research at a remote monastery in the Himalayas when an American expedition led by the determined Tom Friend arrives in search of the legendary Yeti. Despite warnings about the dangers of the mountains, Rollason joins the expedition, driven by his belief that the mysterious creatures may represent an extraordinary scientific discovery.
As the group ventures deeper into the frozen wilderness, conflicting motives and mounting tensions begin to threaten the expedition. Directed by Val Guest and written by Nigel Kneale, The Abominable Snowman is an atmospheric Hammer adventure that combines horror, science fiction and psychological suspense.
