The Misfits Mediabook 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray

The Misfits is a poignant modern western directed by John Huston and set against the wide, weathered landscapes of Nevada. Recently divorced Roslyn Taber finds herself drawn into the orbit of a group of drifting men Ñ aging cowboy Gay Langland, broken rodeo rider Guido, and weary mechanic Perce Ñ whose way of life is rapidly disappearing. As they embark on a mustang roundup destined for commercial slaughter, Roslyn’s compassion clashes with the men’s hardened pragmatism, exposing their loneliness, moral fatigue, and resistance to change. Written by Arthur Miller, the film is suffused with melancholy and emotional rawness, serving as both a lament for a vanishing American frontier and a deeply human meditation on freedom, dignity, and survival.
