The Protector 4K Ultra HD + Blu-Ray
The film
About the film
After the kidnapping of a wealthy businessman’s daughter, maverick New York City cops Billy Wong (Jackie Chan) and Danny Garoni (Danny Aiello) are sent to Hong Kong to follow new leads. Instead, they find themselves caught between hostile local police and ruthless crime boss Harold Ko (Roy Chiao), who will stop at nothing to protect his powerful drug empire.
One of Jackie Chan’s most ambitious international productions, The Protector blends hard-boiled American action with Hong Kong martial arts spectacle. This definitive 4-disc Limited Edition presents the film in three distinct versions—including Jackie Chan’s own Hong Kong cut—newly restored in 4K from the original camera negatives and packed with exclusive interviews, commentaries and archival material.
