The Exorcist III is a supernatural horror thriller written and directed by William Peter Blatty, adapted from his novel Legion. Scott, as he investigates a series of ritualistic murders bearing the signature of the long-dead Gemini Killer. As the crimes intensify, Kinderman discovers a terrifying connection between the murders, a psychiatric hospital and a mysterious patient played by Brad Dourif. Combining police procedural suspense with theological dread and disturbing psychological horror, the film builds towards a chilling and deeply unsettling climax. Initially overlooked on release, it is now regarded as one of the strongest sequels in horror cinema and a major cult favourite.
