Trouble Every Day Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD + Blu-Ray

Director: Claire Denis

Claire Denis’s Trouble Every Day is a hypnotic, unsettling blend of eroticism and horror, exploring love, desire, and uncontrollable hunger in its most primal form. The story follows an American newlywed, Shane Brown, who travels to Paris with his wife, ostensibly for their honeymoon—but secretly to track down a mysterious woman, Coré, linked to a strange condition they both share. Coré, living in seclusion under her husband’s watch, suffers violent, cannibalistic urges triggered by sexual intimacy. As Shane’s control frays, the film weaves a slow, dreamlike rhythm punctuated by moments of shocking brutality. Denis’s detached, atmospheric direction, combined with Agnès Godard’s intimate cinematography and Tindersticks’ haunting score, creates a chilling, almost meditative horror experience that lingers long after the credits. Trouble Every Day is less about jump scares and more about the terror of what lies inside.
