The Proposition Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD + Blu-Ray

The Proposition (2006) was directed by John Hillcoat. Hillcoat is known for his work in Australian cinema, and this film marked a significant milestone in his career. He collaborated with screenwriter and musician Nick Cave to bring this gripping Western to life.

The film follows Charlie Burns, a notorious outlaw, who is given a proposition by Captain Morris Stanley. Charlie must hunt down and kill his older brother Arthur, who is wanted for rape and murder, in order to save his younger brother Mikey from execution. Set in the harsh Australian outback of the 1880s, the story explores themes of family, loyalty, and redemption.

The Proposition received critical acclaim and won several awards, including 14 wins and 30 nominations. It was praised for its performances, direction, and screenplay.
