About the film
Crawl (2019), directed by Alexandre Aja, is a survival horror thriller about Haley Keller, a competitive swimmer who returns to her family home in Florida during a powerful hurricane after losing contact with her estranged father. She finds him seriously injured beneath the house in the crawl space, but before they can escape, rapidly rising floodwaters trap them underground.
As the storm worsens, Haley and her father discover that they are not alone. Large, aggressive alligators have entered the flooded house, turning the situation into a desperate fight for survival. Combining disaster-film tension with creature-feature horror, the film focuses on resilience, survival instincts, and the strained relationship between father and daughter as they battle both the storm and the deadly predators surrounding them.
