About the film
Cameron Poe (Nicolas Cage) is heading back to his wife but must make the trip aboard a prison transport flight nicknamed "Jailbird", carrying some of the country’s most dangerous inmates. When the flight is taken over mid-air, Poe finds himself pitted against the mastermind Cyrus "The Virus" Grissom (John Malkovich) and his allies, including Nathan "Diamond Dog" Jones (Ving Rhames), "Baby-O" O'Dell (Mykelti Williamson) and "Pinball" Parker (Dave Chappelle), as Agent Vince Larkin (John Cusack) works the case from the ground.
