Peter Loew is a self-absorbed Manhattan literary agent whose life revolves around work, casual relationships and increasingly frustrating therapy sessions. Living in the excess and ambition of 1980s New York, he drifts through a shallow existence until a chance encounter with a mysterious woman changes everything.

After a violent and unsettling night together, Peter becomes convinced that he has been transformed into a vampire. As his grip on reality begins to unravel, his behaviour grows increasingly erratic, alarming colleagues, friends and anyone unfortunate enough to cross his path. Roaming the streets and nightclubs of New York City, Peter descends into a bizarre spiral where fantasy and reality become impossible to distinguish.

Directed by Robert Bierman and written by Joseph Minion, Vampire's Kiss is a darkly comic blend of horror, satire and psychological breakdown. Predating American Psycho by more than a decade, the film has achieved cult status thanks to its sharp social commentary and Nicolas Cage's famously unhinged performance, which remains one of the most memorable and endlessly quotable in cinema history.
