The film
About the film
A retired court investigator revisits a decades-old case while trying to finish a novel focusing on the crime. As he looks back at past evidence, buried feelings emerge as he reunites with a former colleague he worked closely with on the original investigation.
Directed by Juan José Campanella and adapted from Eduardo Sacheri's novel, this Argentine thriller stars Ricardo Darín alongside Soledad Villamil, Guillermo Francella, Pablo Rago and Javier Godino. Moving between the present day and 1970s Buenos Aires, it weaves a gripping crime story together with a long-unspoken love, and won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
