When grieving siblings Andy and his partially blind sister Piper are placed in the care of their foster mother, Laura (a chilling Sally Hawkins), they step into a realm far darker than grief alone. Laura, desperate to resurrect her own deceased daughter, entangles them in a sinister occult ritual involving possession, death, and rebirth. As the ritual unravels, the children are ensnared in a nightmare rooted in trauma, sorrow, and bloody devotion. The film explores the terrible lengths to which grief can warp love—and the fragility of the bonds meant to protect us.
