Wicked (2024) Limited Collectors Edition Steelbook 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray

Directed by Jon M. Chu, Wicked (2024) reimagines the untold story of the witches of Oz Ñ centering on Elphaba and Glinda long before the events of the classic The Wizard of Oz. Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), born with green skin and bullied for it, begins her journey at Shiz University, where she meets Galinda (later Glinda, played by Ariana Grande), a popular student whose privileged background and ambition mask deeper insecurities. Their initial animosity transforms into a fragile friendship when social injustice and the systemic persecution of magical "Animals" at the university force them to confront prejudice, power, and their own identities.

As political machinations intensify, the pair become emblematic figures in a battle over truth, corruption, and what it really means to be "good." Full of lush visuals, spectacular musical numbers, and emotional complexity, Wicked challenges the original Oz mythology Ñ offering a darker, more nuanced tale of morality and friendship. With powerhouse performances and a sweeping production, this film is the definitive origin story of two of cinema’s most iconic witches.
