Dont Torture A Duckling Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD
The film
About the film
From Lucio Fulci, the godfather of gore, comes one of the most powerful and unsettling giallo thrillers ever produced: Don't Torture a Duckling. When the sleepy rural village of Accendura is rocked by a series of murders of young boys, the superstitious locals are quick to apportion blame, among them the local "witch" Maciara. As bodies pile up and the community is gripped by panic, two outsiders — city journalist Andrea and spoilt rich girl Patrizia — team up to try to crack the case.
Deemed shocking at the time for its brutal violence, depiction of the Catholic Church and themes of child murder and implied pedophilia, Don't Torture a Duckling is widely regarded today as Fulci's greatest film. Arrow presents this film in its 4K debut.
