Daniel Hillard is a devoted but unconventional father who finds himself separated from his three children following the breakdown of his marriage. Desperate to spend more time with them, Daniel uses his talents as an actor and impressionist to transform himself into Mrs. Euphegenia Doubtfire, an elderly British housekeeper.

Hired by his unsuspecting former wife Miranda, Daniel suddenly becomes part of his children’s everyday lives again. But maintaining his elaborate disguise proves increasingly complicated as his two identities begin to collide.
