Ringu 4K Ultra HD

In 1998, director Hideo Nakata unleashed a chilling tale of technological terror that redefined the horror genre and introduced a generation of moviegoers to a creepy, dark-haired girl called Sadako. Arrow Video presents Ringu restored from the original negative in 4K, preserving the film that launched the J-horror boom and inspired numerous remakes and imitators.

When a group of teenage friends are found dead with their bodies grotesquely contorted, Reiko (Nanako Matsushima), a journalist and the aunt of one of the victims, investigates and uncovers a creepy urban legend about a supposedly cursed videotape. According to the legend, anyone who views the tape will die within a week unless they can persuade someone else to watch it and pass on the curse.
