Road House Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD

Road House (1989) is a cult action film directed by Rowdy Herrington and starring Patrick Swayze as Dalton, a tough but philosophical “cooler” (head bouncer) hired to clean up the violent Double Deuce bar in a small Missouri town. The cast also includes Sam Elliott as Dalton’s mentor Wade Garrett, Kelly Lynch as Dr. Elizabeth Clay, and Ben Gazzara as Brad Wesley, the town’s corrupt and ruthless businessman.

The plot follows Dalton as he tries to restore order at the Double Deuce, confronting local thugs and eventually clashing with Wesley, who controls the town through fear and extortion. Along the way, Dalton falls for a local doctor and finds himself pulled deeper into a battle for the soul of the town. With roundhouse kicks, bar brawls, and a surprisingly philosophical streak, the film blends action with character drama.

Though critically mixed upon release, Road House became a fan favorite and an enduring cult classic known for its quotable lines, over-the-top action, and Swayze’s charismatic performance. It remains a beloved piece of late ’80s action cinema.
