Scanners (1981) is directed by David Cronenberg, a filmmaker renowned for his work in the body horror genre. The film stars Stephen Lack as Cameron Vale, Jennifer O'Neill as Kim Obrist, and Michael Ironside as Darryl Revok. The plot follows Cameron Vale, a man with telepathic and telekinetic abilities, known as a "scanner."
