About the film
A New Hope
Set against the grip of the Galactic Empire, Princess Leia is taken captive and the fate of the Rebellion hangs in the balance. Young Luke Skywalker joins forces with roguish Han Solo and the loyal droid pair to mount a daring effort to free her and strike back at Imperial tyranny.
The Empire Strikes Back
The saga continues as Luke departs to study under the Jedi master Yoda while Darth Vader intensifies his pursuit. Meanwhile, Leia, Han, Chewbacca and the droids are drawn into a web of captures and betrayals that test the Rebellion at every turn.
Return Of The Jedi
Luke undertakes a rescue mission to free Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt as the Emperor readies a far deadlier Death Star. The Rebels organise a large-scale assault and Luke faces Darth Vader in a climactic, personal confrontation.
