The plot follows Stanley Jobson (Hugh Jackman), a skilled hacker who is recruited by Gabriel Shear (John Travolta), a charismatic and ruthless counter-terrorist operative. Gabriel needs Stanley to help him hack into a secret government slush fund containing billions of dollars. Meanwhile, Ginger (Halle Berry), Gabriel’s mysterious associate, plays both sides, and FBI agent Roberts (Don Cheadle) tries to track them all down. As Stanley gets deeper into the scheme, he realizes nothing is as it seems, and he must choose between doing the right thing and protecting his daughter.
