Toy Soldiers (1991) is a teen-centered action thriller directed by Daniel Petrie Jr.

The story follows a group of rebellious boys at a prestigious prep school who are suddenly thrust into a deadly situation when terrorists seize control of the campus, holding the students hostage to bargain for the release of a drug lord. Among the students is Billy Tepper (played by Sean Astin), a troublemaker with a heroic streak who rallies his friends to fight back from within. As the military and FBI plan an external rescue, the boys launch their own covert resistance inside the school.
