Outcast teenager Eddie Weinbauer finds solace in the music of his heavy metal idol, Sammi Curr, a rebellious rock star who dies under mysterious circumstances at the height of his fame. When Eddie receives a rare recording containing Curr’s final, unreleased songs, playing it backwards unleashes a terrifying supernatural force.

As Sammi’s influence grows increasingly sinister, Eddie discovers that his hero has returned from beyond the grave with deadly intentions. What begins as a fantasy of revenge soon spirals into a night of supernatural horror, forcing Eddie to confront the very evil he helped unleash.

Directed by Charles Martin Smith, Trick or Treat is a cult horror favourite that perfectly captures the heavy metal hysteria of the 1980s. Featuring memorable performances from Marc Price and Tony Fields, plus appearances by rock legends Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osbourne, the film blends supernatural scares, dark humour and an unforgettable hard rock soundtrack.
