The film
About the film
A spoilt rich kid, a troubled teen from the wrong side of the tracks, a carefree playboy and a dogged detective find themselves all caught up in the sex crime of the century in this steamy, star‑studded crime thriller. Popular and charming, school counsellor Sam Lombardo is used to attention within the moneyed cliques of Florida’s Blue Bay, but his life is turned upside down when wealthy student Kelly Van Ryan accuses him of rape.
The charge looks set to stick when Suzie Toller echoes the allegation, but Detective Duquette suspects something is off. Presented in 4K restorations of both the original theatrical version and an extended Unrated Edition, Wild Things is a late‑90s neo‑noir whose serpentine plotting keeps viewers guessing until the end credits.
