Also known as Zombi 2, Zombie Flesh Eaters is a cult Italian horror film directed by Lucio Fulci. It begins with the mysterious reappearance of an abandoned boat near New York City and leads to a remote Caribbean island plagued by the undead.

A group of investigators travels to the island, only to discover that ancient curses, voodoo, and scientific experiments may be behind the horrifying phenomenon.

Known for its shocking gore, surreal atmosphere, and iconic scenes (including a zombie vs. shark encounter), the film helped define the European zombie genre. With a grim tone, graphic effects, and a haunting score, Zombie Flesh Eaters is considered a classic of Italian splatter cinema and a companion piece to George A. Romero’s zombie films.
