The film
About the film
After leaving behind a life of crime, former gangster Gal Dove has settled into a peaceful retirement on Spain’s sun-drenched Costa del Sol. His quiet existence is shattered when Don Logan, an intimidating and dangerously unpredictable former associate, arrives with an offer that isn’t open to negotiation: return to London for one final job.
As Logan’s increasingly volatile behaviour threatens to destroy Gal’s newfound life, a tense battle of wills unfolds between two men whose criminal pasts refuse to stay buried.
Directed by Jonathan Glazer, Sexy Beast is a gripping crime thriller elevated by unforgettable performances from Ray Winstone, Ben Kingsley and Ian McShane. Blending razor-sharp dialogue, dark humour and simmering psychological tension, it remains one of the defining British gangster films of the 21st century.
