This Is Spinal Tap 4K UHD The Criterion Collection US Edition

This Is Spinal Tap is a cult classic mockumentary directed by Rob Reiner that satirizes the excesses and absurdities of rock music culture. The film follows Spinal Tap, a fictional British heavy metal band, on a disastrous U.S. tour as they face dwindling audiences, label troubles, and personal tensions. Through interviews and concert footage, the band's delusions of grandeur are hilariously exposedÑfrom malfunctioning stage props to comically bad album concepts. Featuring improvised performances by Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer, the film is a sharp, deadpan send-up of rock documentaries and remains a landmark in comedy filmmaking.
